Trapper Como
As a manufacturer Tahe Kayaks Ltd cares about the working environment, therefore since 2005 the company has been using vacuum infusion process for manufacturing. In 2009 we invested into light-RTM equipments and moulds. Production methods used on the Como kayak are the most environmental friendly ones in composite technology. This means that most of the solvents are handled in a closed system and creating less damage to the environment.

Materials
Our Trapper Como kayak has a 98% recyclable HD core. Cork is a renewable and environmentally- friendly material, absorbing less resin during production process than other core materials on the market. The fibers used in the manufacturing of the fabrics have a low environmental impact during processing. The yarns in the fabrics are easier to impregnate giving better fiber/resin interactions and therefore better performance of the end-product. We have moved with the gelcoats and resins used in production processes into higher solid & low styrene emission content products.
