Computer network at Stockholmsmässan

Stockholmsmässan offers wired LAN, which is designed on the basis of the latest technology. You are able to easily connect your computers to a reliable network for internal communications and Internet access.

Benefits for exhibitors
You will have access to a network designed to guarantee the highest possible quality and capacity under very heavy loads, with large numbers of simultaneous customer connections during trade fairs and events with intensive network use. Each exhibitor at Stockholmsmässan has its own gateway and shares a capacity of 1 gigabit.

Access
The network can be accessed from all the exhibition halls, conference rooms and other public areas.

Wireless Internet connection
Wireless Internet connection cannot be prebooked. It is only available for purchase from the Service Center at Stockholmsmässan. Wireless connection is valid from the first day you move in, throughout the event and while you move out. Connect using your own laptop computer or other wireless device, e.g. PDA or mobile phone.

Our wireless network is a public network for our exhibitors. Contact your own IT Support for guidance on how to connect. Follow the instructions on site regarding which network to use. Email is only available through webmail or web-access to your own email servers. Our Internet connection has no Firewall. You are responsible for your computer's protection when it comes to Antivirus/Firewall etc. Note that computers with a virus may cause problems when you are back behind your own Firewall at home or in the office.

Stockholmsmässan offers special built wireless or wired networks. Please contact us for more information.

Considerations
- To order a wired connection, you need to submit a drawing that shows where in the stand you want the connection to be placed.
- If you bring your own computers, they need to be configured for DHCP (dynamic host configuration protocol) before you arrive. Note that this may cause your own settings to be deleted.
- Stockholmsmässan is not responsible for the exhibitor's own computers.
- If you rent computers from Stockholmsmässan they will be delivered correctly configured and are supplied ready connected on your stand.
- The computer is connected directly to the Internet, you are responsible for protecting your computer.
